Boris Johnson’s deal

This is going to be a mad week but today was pointless. John Bercow stopped the meaningful vote from happening. Then the commons argued about it and Bercow enjoyed plenty of attention.

Jacob Rees-Mogg announced a record breaking timetable for the Withdrawal Agreement Bill, which will have its second reading in the Commons tomorrow and is supposed to finish all its stages by Thursday, before moving up to the Lords.

In regards to legislation, things are looking positive for the government. Amendments on a 2nd referendum and customs union don't seem to be attracting the same level of support than they did previously. The numbers for the deal now appear to be there.
